Hello this is one of my first VFX using niagara, it is a water footstep splash, you can see it working in game on my VFX template Post. I wanted to post a breakdown on the vfx I have done.
The water surface emitter just spawns 1 Mesh particle that works as some soft light for the vfx, the water waves also spawn one with a panning material for waves, and its copy is for the falling drops. For the water ring I used a mesh that grows mostly on Z and then gets smaller.
